City of Rockford Vendor Self- Service (VSS) program allows you, as a vendor, to manage your own account information, browse purchase orders, invoices and 1099 data. It also allows vendors who will be submitting bids on goods and services to select commodities for the types of items that your company offers. All vendors conducting business with the City should register as a vendor through VSS in order to submit bids and receive payments.

There is a one-time registration fee of $45 to activate Vendor Self Service per instructions below.

EXISTING VENDORS will need their City of Rockford Vendor ID (provided in the letter you received) and their Federal ID # to register. Vendors may begin registration by selecting the “Registration” link to the right. Registration will be completed by selecting the “My Profile” link. Vendors must update their company information and attach required documents. If you are a vendor that will be submitting bids on products and services, select the “Commodities” link and choose from the list of commodities/services.

NEW VENDORS: A W-9 is required for registration. New vendors may begin the registration process by selecting the “Registration” link to the right. Continue all steps until registration is complete. When completing the registration process please use proper casing (for example: John Smith).
